The Fourth Assembly: 2011 - 2016
The Fourth Assembly ran from 2011 – 2016
During the Fourth Assembly, the legislative process developed further with the new powers gained following the referendum in March 2011, and the transition from Assembly Measures to Acts of the Assembly.
The Third Assembly: 2007 – 2011
The Third Assembly ran from 2007 – 2011
The Third Assembly saw the introduction of legislative powers under the Government of Wales Act 2006.
The Second Assembly: 2003 - 2007
The Second Assembly ran from 2003 – 2007
During this Assembly, the Senedd was completed and opened, giving the Assembly a permanent purpose built home in Cardiff Bay, and a focal point for the political process in Wales.
