Members of the Senedd are also employers in their own right and usually employ people both in their constituency, and in Cardiff Bay.

The terms of employment will differ depending on the relevant vacancy but all posts are pensionable and provide competitive terms and conditions of employment.

Appointment is subject to the following pre-employment security checks;

Security clearance which will be conducted at either Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) for constituency employees or a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) for Senedd based employees.
