Audit Committee to discuss LG

The National Assembly’s Audit Committee will discuss LG at a meeting this week. The Committee will be holding its first meeting in the Third Assembly at 1.30pm, Thursday July 12 in Committee Room 3, Senedd, Cardiff Bay. The Committee will be electing a Chair and will receive a presentation from the Auditor General for Wales, Jeremy Colman, on the remit and work of the Audit Committee, which is responsible for impartial scrutinising of Assembly Government spending. Members will also receive evidence as part of their investigation into protecting public money in the LG projects in Newport.   Full details about the Committee meeting
