Committee to examine future rail provision

The Enterprise and Learning Committee of the National Assembly for Wales will take evidence as part of its short inquiry into future rail provision for Wales at its first meeting of the new term on Wednesday September 19th. Members will take evidence from:
  • Welsh Assembly Government and Department for Transport;
  • Network Rail;
  • Regional Transport Consortia TraCC, Taith, Swwitch and SEWTA; and
  • Passenger Focus
Chair of the Committee Gareth Jones, AM said: The Enterprise and Learning Committee has a full programme of work planned for the Autumn term. I am looking forward to getting the work underway at our first meeting of the term by gathering evidence on rail provision in response to the UK Government’s white paper on the subject.” The meeting takes place in Committee Room 2, the Senedd from 9.00am until 12.00pm.
