About this event:
Our Voice, our Senedd, our Wales. This session will provide you and your group with key information ahead of the Senedd Election.
On 06 May 2021 you will be invited to use your voice to decide who should represent you and your community in the Senedd.
This session is an introduction to the Senedd’s unique voting system, the subjects it is responsible for, and the latest information about the election.
The session will include details on:
- The election process and key dates;
- Voter eligibility;
- How to register to vote;
- The voting system in place for the Senedd Election;
- What citizens are voting for, i.e. the powers held by the Senedd;
- Forming the next Senedd;
- The role of the Senedd and the Members of the Senedd.
The session will also provide you with information on where to access online resources, videos and activities to help you run your own session.
This session is in partnership with the Electoral Commission.
