Available at 10:00-12:00 on Tue, Weds and Thurs mornings and 13:00-15:00 on Thurs afternoons. Suitable for Year 5 and 6 Pupils.

About

Learners will explore what it means to be an active citizen. They will hear about the work of current young activists and they will have an opportunity to consider a possible campaign to tackle an issue of their choice. Learners will also enjoy a debate role play in the original debating chamber.

Begin your day with a tour of the Senedd, before taking part in activities in our Education Centre - Siambr Hywel.

Pupils will debate an issue chosen from contemporary topics and have the opportunity to use electronic voting software to have their say.

Additional Information

  • You will need to go through security therefore we'd advise you arrive 10 minutes before your visit starts.
  • If you visit on Tuesday or Wednesday morning, you can book tickets to watch Plenary which starts at 13.30.
  • A lunchroom can be booked for your group before or after your visit.
