Political history
After being elected to the National Assembly in 2007, Bethan was a member of the Petitions Committee, the Public Accounts Committee (formerly the Audit Committee) and the Communities and Culture Committee. She was also Plaid Cymru spokesperson on child poverty and cultural issues.
