Media related inquiries
The Senedd news team is responsible for communicating the work of the Senedd, its committees and members.
We promote the inquiries undertaken by Senedd scrutiny committees, Senedd events and decisions made by Members of the Senedd in Plenary. We also respond to media enquiries on Senedd-related issues, manage filming, photography and live broadcast requests on the Senedd estate, and offer workshops and presentations to deepen media understanding of the parliament and how it works.

Normal office hours are 09.00 to 17.00 Mon-Fri. During term time there will be someone available until the end of plenary sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wherever you’re based and whatever your interest in the Senedd, we will always try to help. We;
- Deal with media queries around the work of the Senedd and Llywydd
- Brief journalists on Senedd business
- Facilitate filming, photography or media accreditation requests
- Support all media based at or visiting the Senedd
- Hold talks, tours or briefings for any members of the media or journalism students about the Senedd’s work
Members Pay, Expenses and Pensions
Media enquiries regarding Members expenses, pay and pensions should be referred to the Independent Remuneration Board of the Senedd on 0300 200 6565.
Welsh Government Media Enquiries
Media enquiries regarding the Welsh Government or First Minister of Wales should call the Welsh Government Press Office on 0300 025 8099.
Members of the Public
Members of the public should call 0300 200 6565 to speak to the Senedd Contact Centre.
