The structure of the organisation is set out below. All are accountable to the Chief Executive

Executive Board and Leadership Team

The Executive Board is the strategic decision making body within the Chief Executive’s delegated authority from the Senedd Commission, and is responsible for the overall delivery of the organisation’s goals and priorities. The Board is also an advisory body to the Commission, imparting the best possible advice in setting the Commission’s Strategy, goals, priorities, and the Budget.

The Leadership Team is an advisory body to the Executive Board. It enables effective delivery of operational plans, priorities, and the Senedd's governance arrangements.

Senedd Business   

The Senedd Business Directorate provides specialist parliamentary support to Members to ensure the efficient and effective conduct of business. It is made up of the Policy & Legislation Committee Service; the Legislation and Chamber Service; the Research Service; the Legal Service, and the Strategic Transformation Unit. 

Communications and Engagement Directorate

The Engagement Directorate provides support to the Presiding Officers, the Senedd Commission, the Chief Executive, the Directors and the Remuneration Committee. The Directorate is also responsible for supporting Members through the Members' Business Support team, the Translation and Reporting Service, the Communications team, the Parliamentary Venues and Visitors Services, and the co-ordination of professional development opportunities for Members and their staff.

Senedd Resources

The Resources Group manages the corporate arrangements for performance delivery, reporting, and financial accountability. The Group consists of five teams: Procurement, Governance & Audit, ICT, Human Resources and Estates and Facilities Management. Our Head of Internal Audit provides the necessary assurances to the Audit Committee, management, and the Accounting Officer. The Information and Communications Technology Directorate is responsible for managing the provision of ICT and broadcasting services to the Senedd and the Commission. The Estates and Facilities Management team, in partnership with its contractors, work to provide outstanding support and services to those using the Senedd's estate.
