The Commission is chaired by the Llywydd, and is made up of four Members who have been elected by the Senedd.
The Commissioners have collective responsibility for decisions and have equal status in discussions, and each Commission member will be involved in the full range of decision making.

The Commissioners are charged with the governance of the organisation and are accountable to the Senedd.
The responsibilities of the Commissioners as the “governing board” include setting the organisation’s strategic aims, providing the leadership to put them into effect, overseeing the delivery of those strategic aims and reporting and being accountable to the Senedd on their stewardship.
