Senedd Tours and Talks

There are a number of Tours and Talks available to learn more about the Senedd and to enhance your visit. These experiences are optional, and free. You are welcome to visit the Senedd independently without booking on a Tour or Talk.

Please note that due to building works taking place in the Senedd’s Siambr in preparation for the Seventh Senedd, the Public Gallery will be temporarily unavailable to visitors.

The Senedd will remain open for the duration of the works, including the public areas, the cafe and exhibitions. However, our Group Tours will be modified as we will be limited to where we will have access within the building.
Self-guided audio tours and virtual tour are also available, and do not need to be booked in advance.

Suitable for:  Community groups, organisations and groups of between 8 and 40 people, smaller special interest groups who would prefer an exclusive tour.

• It may also be possible to meet your elected Members of the Senedd, if this is requested beforehand, subject to their availability

An informal presentation looking at:

• The Senedd – the landmark building and its sustainability features
• How the Senedd started and important moments since
• How you are represented
• How you can be involved in shaping Wales' future

Talks are held in the comfortable Media Briefing Room and are approximately 30 minutes long. Following the talk there will be an opportunity to independently explore the public access areas of the Senedd building, where the Visitor Engagement team will be available to answer any questions you might have.

Suitable for: For individuals and groups, in Wales or further afield

Duration: 45 minutes

Location: Online

A chance to learn about the Senedd with our knowledgeable Guides, from your own home or where your group meets. The presentation will cover:

• The Senedd - the landmark building and its sustainability features
• How the Senedd began, and important moments since
• How the people of Wales are represented

Talks are delivered online through Microsoft Teams. Individuals or groups can sign-up, and our Visitor Engagement team will be available at the end to answer your questions.
