To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 29.6 agrees that provisions in the Farriers (Registration) Bill, in so far as they fall within the legislative competence of the National Assembly for Wales, should be considered by the UK Parliament.

A Legislative Consent Memorandum has been laid in Table Office on 16 February 2017 in accordance with Standing Order 29.2(ii).

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

1. Agrees that Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and National Parks play a vital role:

a) as valued places for nature and in providing public and private benefit through a wide range of services;

b) in the sustainable management of natural resources and in supporting vibrant rural communities.

2. Agrees that all landscapes have a special value, as expressed in the sense of 'bro', which is at the heart of community identity and the way many people in Wales express their distinct sense of belonging to a particular place.
