To ask the Minister for Education and Skills

Andrew RT Davies (South Wales Central): With reference to the 21st Century Schools initiative, and in particular the redevelopment of the Llantwit Major learning centre, will the Minister confirm how much of the £12.476m (if any) has been drawn down by the Vale of Glamorgan council to date, and will the Minister outline the schedule for future payments if any of that total remains to be received? (WAQ67896)

Answer received on 28 October 2014

The Minister for Education and Skills (Huw Lewis): The Strategic Outline Case (SOC) for Llantwit Major Learning Centre was presented to Department for Education and Skills' Capital Investment Panel in August where it was approved to proceed to the next stage of the business case process. The project is still at an early stage therefore no funding has been released to date. Other projects within Vale of Glamorgan's 21st Century Schools Programme have drawn down funding, and in addition to this, an extension has been granted to their overall VoG Programme Envelope.

To ask the Minister for Health and Social Services

Antoinette Sandbach (North Wales): Will the Minister outline the costs of issuing the letter he has written to all NHS staff in Wales, dated 21 October 2014? (WAQ67894)

Answer received 28 October 2014

The Minister for Health and Social Services (Mark Drakeford): The letter to all NHS staff on October 21st was disseminated electronically via the Chair of each Health Board. The cost of issuing the letter was therefore negligible.

Mark Isherwood (North Wales): How many individuals in Wales with cystic fibrosis currently sit on the active transplant list for double lungs? (WAQ67895)

Answer received on 28 October 2014

Mark Drakeford: The waiting list database does not distinguish between patients waiting for single or double lung transplant but the majority of lung transplants are double. There are currently five patients from Wales with cystic fibrosis on the active transplant list for lung transplantation.
