Personal history
I was born in Bangor and grew up on my family farm in
Anglesey. My father was a farmer and porter for the NHS, and my mother is a
psychologist for the NHS. I attended the state school Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni up
to A-level, earning high grades including A* in A-level Maths. I then attended
University of Exeter, where I was awarded a fi rst class degree in Economics in
2017. Nearly a decade later I came back to academia to study a masters in
Economics and Data Science at the University of Cambridge, having been awarded
the James Pantyfedwen scholarship to attend.
Professional background
I worked for several years as a data professional prior to
being elected. I ran my own data consulting company, Cai Data Ltd. Clients
included the multinational bank, Revolut, Europe’s highest valued private

Political history
I was the Deputy Chairman of Reform UK’s Bangor Conwy Môn branch
between September 2025 to May 2026.
