Assembly bus at Anglesey show
9 August 2010
The National Assembly for Wales’s Outreach bus will be at the Anglesey show, on 10 August, to inform people of the work of the Assembly and promote this year’s theme of ‘voting’.
Visitors to the bus can take part in workshops on engaging with the Assembly and watch multimedia presentations on its work.
Children’s activities will also be available, to encourage young people to learn about the Assembly and highlight the importance of getting involved in the democratic process.
Members of the public can leave their views on what the Assembly should be looking at on individual feedback stations.
“The Assembly outreach bus takes the National Assembly to all corners of Wales, giving people the opportunity to learn about its work and how it can impact on their lives,” said North Wales Outreach and Liaison Manager Lowri Williams.
“It offers people the chance to learn about their local Assembly Members, the work undertaken by scrutiny and legislation committees and how the Assembly can impact on their lives.
“We would encourage anyone interested in learning more about the Assembly to come on board and have their say.”
