Local Government Committee to discuss response to Lyons inquiry
The National Assembly’s Local Government and Public Services Committee will be scrutinising the new Local Government Bill at its next meeting.
Members will also discussing the government’s response to two of its reports – on regulation and inspection of services and on management structures in local councils.
The Committee will also be discussing its response to the Lyons inquiry into council tax and looking at the business rate relief scheme.
Members will also receive a paper on the accommodation needs of gypsy travellers.
The meeting takes place at 9am on Thursday February 15 in Committee Room 2, Senedd, Cardiff Bay.
