Local Government Committee to examine Local Government Bill The Local Government and Public Services Committee of the National Assembly for Wales will consider Welsh provisions in the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill at its next meeting on Thursday January 18th 2007. Members will also receive a report from the Minister for Finance, Local Government and Public Services and an update on Developing Core Principles for Customer Service for the Welsh Public, a part of Making the Connections. The Committee will also scrutinise regulations to strengthen arrangements for the placement, health, education and wellbeing of looked after children, and will consider the European Commission’s Legislative and Work Programme for 2007. The meeting takes place in committee room 2, in the Senedd, Cardiff Bay from 9.30am until 12.30pm on Thursday January 18.
