PO Rosemary Butler at the Monmouth Show
On 25 August, the Presiding Officer visited the Monmouth Show, where she met with journalists from the Monmouthshire Beacon to discuss the Assembly’s presence at regional and national events, bringing the Assembly to the people of Wales, the role of the Presiding Officer and the Assembly’s petitions process.The Presiding Officer then went on to meet a number of organisations that were present on the day including Coleg Gwent, Cancer Research UK, Wales Air Ambulance, Gwent Wildlife Trust, the Rotary Club of Monmouth, the South Wales Argus and the Farmers’ Union of Wales.
