To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, for the purposes of any provisions resulting from the Proposed Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure, agrees to any increase in expenditure of a kind referred to in Standing Order 23.80(ii)(b) and (c), arising in consequence of the Measure.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with Standing Order 23.24:

Agrees to the general principles of the Proposed Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure.

The Proposed Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure and Explanatory Memorandum were laid before the Assembly on 25 January 2010;

The report of Legislation Committee No. 5 on the Proposed Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure was laid before the Assembly on 21 May 2010.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales; in accordance with Standing Order 24.4:

Approves that the draft The Health Protection (Part 2A Orders) (Wales) Regulations 2010 is made in accordance with the draft laid in the Table Office on 26 April 2010.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales; in accordance with Standing Order 24.4:

Approves that the draft The Health Protection (Local Authority Powers) (Wales) Regulations 2010 is made in accordance with the draft laid in the Table Office on 26 April 2010.

Add as new point at end of motion:Notes the recommendation of the Stage 1 Committee report that the NHS should not always be the lead authority.

Add as new point at end of motion:Notes that the provisions in this measure will be funded by the abolition of the joint working grant and expresses concern at the impact of this decision on many vital services around Wales. WITHDRAWN
