To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 24.4:

Approves that the draft The Child Minding and Day Care Exceptions (Wales) Order 2010 is made in accordance with the draft laid in the Table Office on 22 October 2010.

NDM4592 Jane Hutt (Vale of Glamorgan)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales welcomes the continued progress on implementing the Assembly Government's One Wales programme.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales notes ‘Future Ambitions: developing careers services in Wales’ and welcomes the Assembly Government’s proposal to establish a unifying structure for Careers Wales.

A copy of "Future Ambitions: developing careers services in Wales" was e-mailed to Assembly Members on Tuesday 16 November 2010.

To propose that the Assembly resolves to adopt the following amendments to motions:

NDM4592

1. Nick Ramsay (Monmouth)

After ‘programme’ insert:

But expresses concern about the continued shortcomings in performance across public services in Wales.

2. Peter Black (South Wales West)

Add as new point at end of motion:

Regrets that during the period of budget growth, the Welsh Assembly Government failed to sufficiently invest in upgrading school buildings as set out in One Wales.

3. Peter Black (South Wales West)

Add as new point at end of motion:

Regrets the continued failure to meet the waiting times target as set out in One Wales.

4. Peter Black (South Wales West)

Add as new point at end of motion:

Regrets the failure of the Welsh Assembly Government to increase the supply of affordable housing as set out in One Wales.

Calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to fully implement the recommendations of the Future Ambitions report in a timely and appropriate manner.

2. Peter Black (South Wales West)

Add as new point at end of motion:

Believes that careers advice must be given without bias and for the good of the student.

3. Peter Black (South Wales West)

Add as new point at end of motion:

Believes that social entrepreneurship should be integrated into careers advice given by the new careers body.
