  • yn nodi bod angen gwneud gwell cynnydd o ran bodloni Nodau allweddol Datblygu’r Mileniwm;
  • yn cydnabod y mandad cyhoeddus parhaus dros weithredu gwleidyddol brys i roi terfyn ar dlodi byd-eang;
  • yn croesawu gwaith TUC Cymru ac ymgyrchwyr eraill dros gyfiawnder masnach a mwy o gymorth;
  • yn cefnogi pennu gofynion cadarnach ar Adrannau Llywodraeth i nodi’n benodol yr hyn a wnânt er mwyn helpu i fodloni Nodau Datblygu’r Mileniwm;
  • yn cydnabod bod y byd yn disgwyl o hyd am ddileu tlodi
White Band Day 2007 This Assembly:
  • supports the Global Call to Action against Poverty which has designated 17 October World Day for the Eradication of Poverty;
  • notes that greater progress is needed to meet key Millennium Development Goals;
  • recognises the continued public mandate for urgent political action to end global poverty;
  • welcomes the work of the Wales TUC and other campaigners for trade justice and greater aid;
  • supports more robust requirements for Government Departments to specify what they will do to help meet the Millennium Development Goals;
  • acknowledges that the world still can't wait to make poverty history
