to Suspend Standing Orders

That the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with Standing Orders 35.6 and 35.8:
Suspends
Standing Order 7.18 (i) and that part of Standing Order 6.10 that requires the weekly announcement under Standing Order 6.3 to constitute the timetable for business in Plenary for the following week, to allow the motion under Item 3 to be considered in Plenary
on Wednesday 1 October 2008.

3: Motion to establish and elect a Legislative Committee
NNDM4021 Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Dwyfor Meirionnydd)
To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Orders 21.1, establishes a committee to consider and report on the general principles of the Proposed Local Government (Wales) Measure. The committee shall cease to exist if the proposed Measure is passed, falls or is withdrawn, or a new committee is set up to consider Stage 2 proceedings under Standing Order 23.31(ii)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 10.3, elects Janice Gregory(Labour), Joyce Watson (Labour), Dai Lloyd (Plaid Cymru), Nick Ramsay (Conservative) and Jenny Randerson (Liberal Democrat) as members of the Proposed Local Government Measure Committee.

Calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to:
a) Show its commitment to community pharmacy by rolling out the enhanced services of the pharmacy contract;
b) Ensure that NHS reorganisation does not prevent the commissioning of further community pharmacy services; and
c) Provide a deadline for the introduction of the consolidated regulations.
