Item 4: Debate on Jenny Randerson's Proposal for an LCO - Major Development Travel Plans

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 22.50, agrees that Jenny Randerson may lay a proposed Order, to give effect to the outline proposed Order provided on 23 January 2009 under Standing Order 22.48, and an Explanatory Memorandum.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

Notes the need to shape the Welsh Assembly Government’s capital programme in the most effective way to help ameliorate the impact of the economic crisis on Wales.

The following amendments were tabled:

"Calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to ensure that its procurement process provides a level playing field for small and medium sized Welsh businesses to bid for capital projects.”
