Item 5: Motion to approve The Street Works (Charges for Unreasonably Prolonged Occupation of the Highway) (Wales) Regulations 2009

NDM4214 Carwyn Jones (Bridgend)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales; in accordance with Standing Order 24.4:

1. Considers the report of the Subordinate Legislation Committee laid in the Table Office on 30 April 2009 in relation to the draft The Street Works (Charges for Unreasonably Prolonged Occupation of the Highway) (Wales) Regulations 2009; and

2. Approves that the draft The Street Works (Charges for Unreasonably Prolonged Occupation of the Highway) (Wales) Regulations 2009 is made in accordance with:

a) the draft laid in the Table Office on 22 April 2009; and

b) the Explanatory Memorandum laid in the Table Office on 22 April 2009.

The Motion was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 7.35.

Item 6: Motion to approve The Traffic Management Permit Scheme (Wales) Regulations 2009

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales; in accordance with Standing Order 24.4:

1. Considers the report of the Subordinate Legislation Committee laid in the Table Office on 30 April 2009 in relation to the draft The Traffic Management Permit Scheme (Wales) Regulations 2009; and

2. Approves that the draft The Traffic Management Permit Scheme (Wales) Regulations 2009 is made in accordance with:

a) the draft laid in the Table Office on 21 April 2009; and

b) the Explanatory Memorandum laid in the Table Office on 21 April 2009.

The Motion was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 7.35.

Welcomes the consultation on the revised National Waste Strategy, Towards Zero Waste.
