Item 7: Motion to approve The Local Authorities (Wales) (Charges for Property Searches) Regulations 2009

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 24.4:

1. Considers the report of the Subordinate Legislation Committee laid in the Table Office on 3 February 2009 in relation to the draft The Local Authorities (Charges for Property Searches) (Wales) Regulations 2009; and

2. Approves that the draft The Local Authorities (Charges for Property Searches) (Wales) Regulations 2009 is made in accordance with:

a) the draft laid in the Table Office on 21 January 2009; and

b) the Explanatory Memorandum laid in the Table Office on 21 January 2009.

Voting on the motion under this item was deferred until Voting Time.

Item 8: Debate on the Voluntary Sector Scheme Annual Report

NDM4147 Carwyn Jones (Bridgend)

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

1. Welcomes progress made in implementing the actions arising from the  Third Dimension - A Strategic Action Plan for the Voluntary Sector Scheme;

2. Notes the action taken to implement the Voluntary Sector Scheme in the period up to 31 March 2008.  

3. Notes the publication of the Voluntary Sector Scheme Annual Report.

"Expresses concern that the current economic climate could lead to a rise in demand for the Third Sector and a decline in available funding.”
