To ask the Minister for Natural Resources

Kirsty Williams (Brecon and Radnorshire): Will the Minister publish details of any advice received this year on recommendations for annual carbon emission reduction targets for Wales? (WAQ69510)

The Minister for Natural Resources (Carl Sargeant): Although we have not received direct advice on annual emission targets for this year, the UK Climate Change Committee's (UKCCC) most recent annual report which was published in June. The report outlines the UK and DA's progress towards meeting their respective annual targets and provides recommendations on areas that may require stronger action.

Despite regular and proactive engagement between Powys Council, Welsh Government Officials and the UK Government's Mobile Infrastructure Project team, the programme will only deliver one site in Brecon and Radnorshire at Dorthy Farm, Newchurch near Kington.
