Answer received on 4 November 2013 (WAQ65795-96)

Alun Davies AM: I will make a statement on the funding of food festivals in the new year.

The Food Hall at the 2013 Royal Welsh Show and Winter Fair is managed by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. I can however, confirm that Welsh Government contracted Fernleigh Design Limited and Howel Food Consultancy to deliver the exhibition area of the new Food and Drink Pavilion at the summer show. These companies were recruited via a formal Welsh Government procurement framework.
