Darren Millar (Clwyd West): When will the Minister publish the report into clinical governance at Abergele Hospital which was commissioned last year? (WAQ52857)

The Minister for Health and Social Services (Edwina Hart): As you know, there was a delay in the review of services at Abergele and in order to move the process along, I asked the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Professor Mike Harmer to look into the issue.

In addition to visiting the hospital and meeting clinical staff there, Professor Harmer has since reviewed the proposals and the consultation responses and has very recently provided me with a report. I will be considering this report before I decide on how or when it will be published.
