Russell George (Montgomeryshire): Will the Minister confirm when she anticipates that the construction phase of the Newtown bypass will commence? (WAQ68324)

The Minister for Economy, Science and Transport (Edwina Hart): The consultation on draft Orders has finished.  I will now consider the responses and decide whether a Public Local Inquiry is required. Construction could start this autumn depending on whether a Public Local Inquiry is required and, if so, the outcome of that Inquiry
