Brynle Williams (North Wales): When does the Minister expect to have paid 96.14% of claims by value under the Single Payment Scheme 2008? (WAQ52770)

The Minister for Rural Affairs (Elin Jones): The European Commission requirement for the 2008 Single Payment Scheme (SPS) is to pay 96.14% of claims by value by 30 June 2009. For SPS 2007 this target was met on 8 April 2008 and we aim to at least repeat this achievement for SPS 2008.
