To ask the Minister for Natural Resources
Kirsty Williams (Brecon and Radnorshire): Will the Minister make a statement on the legality of National Parks holding commuted sums as a result of conditions of planning consent? (WAQ67893)
Answer received on 27 October 2014
The Minister for Natural Resources (Carl Sargeant): Where it can be justified, by evidence and established in Development Plan policies, a commuted sum paid to and held by a local planning authority as a consequence of a planning obligation is a well established current practice.
