Mark Drakeford: Henoch-Schönlein purpura is a rare condition, usually managed in primary care but with referral to hospital-based specialists if appropriate. Information and support is available online and from charities, such as Vasculitis UK.

Mark Drakeford:  The Welsh Government does not currently fund any research into this area through Health and Care Research Wales. Open grant funding schemes are available to researchers in Wales, providing opportunities for researchers to apply for funding for translational research with a particular focus on applied and public health research in their specific area of expertise.
