To ask the First Minister

Simon Thomas (Mid and West Wales): What recommendation, finding or response to the Gynhadledd Fawr led to the First Minister’s decision to start a campaign encouraging people to do five things in Welsh every day in his statement on 12 November? (WAQ65986)W

Prif Weinidog Cymru:  Yn ystod y Gynhadledd Fawr clywsom fod hyder ac arferiad yn ffactorau sy’n dylanwadu ar ddefnydd unigolion o iaith, a bod pobl yn rhy aml yn colli’r hyder i ddefnyddio'r Gymraeg ar ôl gadael yr ysgol. Felly nod 5 y dydd yw pontio’r bwlch hwnnw ac annog pobl i ddefnyddio’u Cymraeg bob dydd - yn gymdeithasol neu'n broffesiynol.

Simon Thomas (Mid and West Wales): How many meetings with his officials has the First Minister had in order to discuss the report “Iaith fyw: dweud eich dweud, Canlyniadau’r ymarferiadau ymgynghori” by Cwmni Iaith on the findings of “Y Gynhadledd Fawr”? (WAQ65987)W

Answer received on 27 November 2013

First Minister: I have met with officials three times to discuss the findings of Y Gynhadledd Fawr, including Cwmni Iaith's report on Y Gynhadledd Fawr.

Simon Thomas (Mid and West Wales): Will the First Minister make a statement on his opinion of each one of the recommendations in the report “Iaith fyw: dweud eich dweud, Canlyniadau’r ymarferiadau ymgynghori” by Cwmni Iaith on the findings of “Y Gynhadledd Fawr”? (WAQ65988)W

Derbyniwyd ateb ar 27 Tachwedd 2013

First Minister: I made an oral statement on the next steps following Y Gynhadledd Fawr on 12 November, and I will make a further statement during the spring.

To ask the Minister for Health and Social Services

Darren Millar (Clwyd West): Will the Minister list the members of the ministerial advisory group on unscheduled care that is led by Baroness Finlay of Llandaff? (WAQ65985)

Answer received on 27 November 2013

Mark Drakeford: Baroness Finlay has undertaken engagement with a wide range of stakeholders and is currently consolidating the findings so far.  She is now a member of the NHS led Improving Unscheduled Care Programme Steering Board, and will use the membership of this group to advise me of the next steps for the National Conversation based on the themes identified through her engagement. This will ensure the work is co-ordinated with other Unscheduled Care work being taken forward.
