The title of the Welsh Parliament or Senedd Cymru when it was first established in 1999. It changed its name on 6 May, 2020 to reflect its stature as a national parliament after receiving further powers, notably in the 2011 referendum (Wales).

Negative procedure
The negative procedure provides that, after the Welsh Ministers have made the statutory instrument (SI), they must lay it before the Senedd. The Senedd then has a period of 40 days to object to the SI. If the Senedd objects, the negative SI is annulled, meaning that nothing further can be done under the SI.

Ninety (90) Second Statements
Any Member may make a 90 Second Statement on any subject and can be used, for example; to raise matters of concern within their constituency, draw attention to local matters or mark significant dates or anniversaries. Statements must be brief, factual, and are not subject to debate. 90 Second Statements take place on Wednesdays following Topical Questions.
