Northern Ireland delegation to visit the National Assembly for Wales

A delegation of Members and staff from the Northern Ireland Assembly will visit the National Assembly for Wales on Wednesday 7th November 2007. The MLAs are all members of a committee established to consider the future plans for the Northern Ireland Assembly debating chamber and they are visiting the National Assembly to learn more about ICT use in the Siambr, and broadcasting, translation and Record of Proceedings facilities in the Senedd. The group will be led by the Deputy Presiding Officer of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Francie Molloy MLA and will meet with Rosemary Butler AM, the Deputy Presiding Officer of the National Assembly for Wales and Assembly Commissioners; along with the Chief Executive and Clerk to the Assembly and staff from ICT services, Chamber Services, External Communications and Office and Facilities Management.   The visitors will also take a tour around the Senedd and observe Plenary from the public gallery.
