Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Painting (CoWCP) aims to demonstrate the vibrancy and talent of painting in Wales.

Through a series of exhibitions across sixteen venues in north, south, mid and west Wales, CoWCP represents some of Wales’s most significant painters as well as those who are up and coming.

Beginning in 2017 with just two venues, this year’s celebration has seen over 150 painters participating.

Our interpretation of the word painting is wide and covers activities involving ceramics, glass, stone, paper, textiles and wood as well as traditional painting.

For our exhibition in the Futures Gallery we have displayed sample exhibits from each venue to show the broad range of talent existing across Wales today.
