In this exhibition members of Miskin Art highlight many different aspects of Welsh life. They pay tribute to significant Welsh people and places through portraiture and landscape work.
Miskin Art was formed in 2005 by Peter Mayo, Gareth Davies and Haydn Williams. Serving the local community in Miskin, Mountain Ash and Hirwaun, Miskin Art is a non-profit organisation that meets weekly for taught sessions.
Members of Miskin Art work across varied mediums and choose their own subject matter. Visiting artists give demonstrations throughout the year, and workshops are held to offer the group new insights into artistic practice.
Miskin Art meets every Thursday between 19:00-21:00 at St Therese Catholic Church, Hirwaun. New members of all levels are welcomed.
