Dates: 17 March – 15 October 2026

Location: Senedd Oriel

From March 2026, explore Your Senedd, Your Vote. Discover why your vote matters and how you can shape the future of Wales – both before and after the election.

Wales has its own parliament – the Senedd.

This means the Senedd, not the UK Parliament, passes laws about all sorts of things which affect your daily life in Wales.

Things like hospitals and GPs, schools and education, road and rail transport, farming, culture, sport, the environment and the Welsh language.

So the Members of the Senedd elected in May 2026 have the power to make decisions that impact everyone in Wales.

Visit the exhibition to find out more about why the election is important, and learn about key areas:

  • How Members of the Senedd are elected – Understand the process behind your representation.
  • Your Constituency – Wales has 16 new constituencies - find out what yours is.
  • What Members of the Senedd do – see how they work in the Senedd and in your community.
  • What happens after a Senedd election – Learn what comes next once the votes are in.
  • Have your say – Discover ways to raise the issues that matter most to you.
