Calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to strengthen support for part-time and adult learners to help develop a first-class skills base.

To propose that the Assembly resolves to adopt the following amendments to motions:

and set a date for the re-opening of this station.

and to ensure there will be 'disabled access' to all public areas of this station.

Delete everything after "The National Assembly for Wales:" and replace with:

1. Notes the support for the re-opening of Carno Station;

2. Recognises the strong commitment shown by the Assembly Government to the Cambrian Line;

3. Welcomes the £13.4 million funding for the upgrading of the line announced by the Minister on 8 August 2007; and

4. Believes that the line's future has been secured by this investment, which will improve reliability and create the opportunity for further service improvements, and believes any further infrastructure developments should be on the basis of a robust business case.
