National Assembly pays tribute to the life and legacy of Michael Foot

The National Assembly for Wales pays tribute to the life and legacy of Michael Foot.

He represented firstly Ebbw Vale and then Blaenau Gwent and went on to lead the Labour Party. He was one of the towering figures of 20th century British politics and one of our greatest orators and Parliamentarians. He was deeply committed to the valleys where he served our people with distinction and he represented and embodied our values and ideals.
