Support for the Chilean Miners and their Families

This Assembly;

Stands in solidarity with the 33 Chilean miners trapped in the San Jose copper mine and their families. We recognise their terrible dilemma and the arduous situation that they will face for a considerable length of time. We will do all that we can to make sure that the people of Wales remain informed of the rescue progress and all related developments.

Urges the Welsh Assembly Government and the UK government to provide any support necessary to the Chilean authorities be it advice or technical as they work to free the miners.
