Cardiff and Vale Women’s Rights, Education and Advocacy Project

This Assembly:

Acknowledges with concern that 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime;

Acknowledges the wide-reaching implications gender inequality has on the lives of many girls and women in Wales; and

Welcomes community-led solutions, such as Cardiff and Vale Women's Rights, Education and Advocacy Project, which tackles domestic abuse and gender inequality using volunteers as women's rights champions in their own communities.
