Celebrating 20 years of the European Single Market

This Assembly:

Celebrates the 20th anniversary of the European Single Market;

Commends the then UK Government for its decision to join the European Single Market;

Notes the commitment of successive UK and Welsh Governments to building a more effective European Union;

Welcomes the positive contribution membership of the European Single Market has had on the Welsh and British economies; and

Calls on the Welsh Government to work positively with the European Union, and to make it more accountable to the people of Wales.
