Happy Birthday NHS: 65th Anniversary of the founding of the NHS

This Assembly:

Celebrates the creation and founding of the National Health Service which celebrates its 65th Birthday this week; and

Notes the hard economic conditions in which it was formed and formidable challenges Aneurin Bevan faced in its establishment.

Further notes that the NHS has become a beloved public institution and hopes it remains so.
