Santander Agency branch closures in North Wales

The National Assembly for Wales:

1) Regrets the planned closure of Santander agency branches in North Wales;

2) Notes the difficulties that the agency branch closures will impose on rural communities;

3) Notes the previous statement that “Santander is committed to developing its agency network further. Agencies are often the lifeblood of rural communities where traditional full banks branches are less common.”;

4) Urges Santander to reassess their closure proposals.
