Hafod Community Mental Health Team, Denbighshire

This Assembly:

1. Notes:

a) that Hafod Community Mental Health team is a joint service between the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Denbighshire Council;

b) that it provides care, support, and treatement for over 550 in north Denbighshire each year living with mental illness;

2. Congratulates the team for being the first in Wales to be accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

3. States that the accreditation is a recognition of outstanding work across 31 areas following an audit by a project worker from the Royal College of Psychiatrists and feedback from clients, carers and health experts.
