The Early Years, Children, Young People and Education Committee was established by motion in Plenary on 16 June 2026.
We receive a high volume of emails; we will respond to all emails and invitation requests in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the committee is unable to get involved with individual cases or look at specific complaints.
The Committee was established on 16 June 2026 to examine legislation and hold the Welsh Government to account by scrutinising its expenditure, administration and policy matters, encompassing (but not restricted to): early years, education (including Welsh-language in education), skills, and the health and well-being of children and young people, including their health and social care.
