Historic information about claims made by Members of the Senedd
In addition to the detail of claims available in the Allowances Database, further information is available of the total amounts of claims relating to staffing expenditure and additional support.
Staffing Expenditure Allowance (and Family Member Overtime Payments)
From April 2019 the Senedd Commission published the annual staffing expenditure of each Member. Members’ who employed two staff, or less, were not included. In addition, the name, role, relationship and salary band of all family members employed by a Member and the average weekly overtime payments made to family members over the course of the 2019-20 financial year were published from 1 April 2020.
Chapter 3A Additional support
The information below is the annual publication of anonymised, aggregated Claims under Chapter 3A of the Determination on Members’ Pay and Allowances for the relevant financial year.
Claims for expenditure made under Chapter 3A were for the purpose of providing additional support for disabled Members or for engaging with disabled constituents (section 3A.2), Members with childcare or other caring responsibilities (section 3A.3), and Members on parental leave (section 3A.4).
