Forthcoming Summer Events Programme

The National Assembly for Wales’ Events team will be present at the following Summer Shows:

Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells 19 – 22 July

National Eisteddfod, Ebbw Vale 31 July – 7 August

Mardi Gras, Cardiff 4 September

We will be running a variety of activities at each show including workshops and using the new education murel to show how the Assembly affects day to day life. More detailed activites include:

The programme of events taking place on our stand at the Royal Welsh Show include :

Monday – Discussion on the provision of broadband in rural Wales. In partnership with Ofcom. 11.00-13.00

Tuesday – Sustainability Committee Roundtable Discussion – How Europe affects Wales. 12.00-13.00            

Wednesday –Young Farmers discussion with the Llywydd 11.00-12.00 Llywydd’s Reception 12.00-14.00 ‘Working with the Assembly makes a difference’.

National Eisteddfod, Ebbw Vale

This year, as well as taking the Assembly bus to the National Eisteddfod and running a range of activities and workshops on board the bus, we are working in partnership with the National Eisteddfod and Pabell y Cymdeithasau (The Societies tent) to run six discussion sessions.
