Health Committee to scrutinise Mental Health Bill

The Health and social services committee of the National Assembly for Wales will scrutinise the Mental Health Bill at its next meeting on Thursday January 25th.   The Committee will discuss the Bill with representatives of the Law society in Wales and Hafal. Hafal is a voluntary organisation which works with people recovering from severe mental illness, their families and carers. Members will also discuss the report by the Chief Executive of Healthcare Inspectorate Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government’s strategy for social services “Fulfilled Lives, Supportive Communities”. The meeting takes place in Committee Room 1, the Senedd, Cardiff Bay.
